What is Akh'tamar?

Akh'tamar is a small island in Lake Van in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey.

The Akh'tamar Dance Ensemble is a group of over 80 beautiful, young Armenian girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 25, who over the past fourteen years have raised their dance skills to new heights. The Ensemble is divided into two age groups: the younger girls and boys range from age 6 through 11, and the older dancers range from age 12 to 25. We welcome all new dancers.

Akh'tamar Dance Ensemble accepts new members starting at 6 years of age.

2012 SUMMER Rehearsals

As of July, 2012, Rehearsal at Hye Doon, Palisades Park.

Ages 6-11 @ 5pm-7pm

Ages 12+ @ 7pm-10pm
